One Reddit user surprised everyone by sharing that he was able to purchase the iPhone 16 for just Rs 27,000. The user attached a screenshot to prove his claim, showing that he paid a total of Rs 26,970 on his credit card to buy the iPhone 16 (256GB variant). 

When enquired about the expenditure needed to earn that many points, the user replied, “Around 15 lakh.” 

The screenshot showed that the user paid Rs 26,970 for a device priced at Rs 89,990 in India. He used an HDFC Infinia Card and Rs 62,930 in reward points to make the payment. 

Moreover, Apple has also launched its Diwali offers in India, allowing users to get instant cashback over a range of products, including the iPad, Mac, iPhone, and more. 

During the Diwali sale, for a limited time, the company offered free Beats Solo Buds on the purchase of an iPhone. 

As part of Apple’s Diwali offers, buyers can get an instant discount of Rs 5,000 discount on the purchase of several iPhones, including iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, with ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, and American Express cards.

In other developments related to Apple: The company recently announced that it will open four more stores in India. The new stores will be located in Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, and Delhi-NCR. Additionally, Apple also mentioned that its first-ever "made in India" iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max series devices will be launched this month.
