Tech manufacturer Intel has introduced the Intel Arc B-Series graphics cards, which is codenamed Battlemage. The series comprises the Intel Arc B580 and Intel Arc B750. According to the company, GPUs provide “best-in-class value for performance at price points” and are accessible to most of the gamers, delivering modern gaming features while accelerating AI workloads.
 
The Intel Arc B580 Limited Edition graphics card along with models from add-in board partners such as GUNNIR, ONIX, ASRock, Acer, Sparkle, and MAXSUN will be available from December 13 from USD249, approximately Rs 21,000. The Intel Arc B570 graphics card from the same in-board partners will be available for users from January 16, 2025, with a price of USD 219, approximately Rs 18,550.

In a statement, Vivian Lien, Vice President and General Manager of Client Graphics Intel, said, “The new Intel Arc B-Series GPUs deliver leading performance-per-dollar and great 1440p gaming experiences with XeSS 2, second-generation ray tracing engines and XMX AI engines.” 

The Intel Arc B-Series GPUs utilise Intel’s latest Xe2 architecture. The series is optimally designed to offer enhanced efficiency and high performance per core. According to Intel, the new Xe-cores are supported by batter ray tracing units, improved mesh shading performance, and enhanced support of key graphics functions to increase efficiency in terms of performance with the latest game engines. 

The Intel Arc B-Series graphics cards include Intel Xe Matrix Extensions (XMX) AI engines. It powers the latest XeSS 2, which comprises three technologies- Xe Low Latency, XeSS Frame Generation, and XeSS Super Resolution. These technologies enhance responsiveness, performance, and visual fluidity. 

The company also states that the new Arc B-Series GPUs offer 70 per cent better performance per Xe-core and 50 per cent enhanced performance per watt. Additionally, the B560 GPU offers 24 per cent faster at 1440p compared to the Intel Arc A750 GPU.
