Infinix Smart 8HD Infinix was recently launched at Rs 5,669. It is one of the few devices that is loaded with several features despite being an entry-level device. It also comes with a magic ring, which has a lot of scope for improvement. Here's a quick review of the device.

It has a timber texture finish at the back with the camera island having a ring flash and a colour-matched frame which looks sophisticated. 

Infinix Smart 8HD review: Display

The smartphone has a 6.6-inch HD+ display with 500 nits peak brightness, just sufficient to use the device outdoors. Considering the price, the display is respectable. It also has a magic ring that displays information like background calls, charging and other details.

Infinix Smart 8HD review: Performance 

The Infinix Smart 8HD is powered by Unisoc T606 SoC.  paired with 3GB of RAM and 64GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. The smartphone can run a few apps simultaneously but not many.

The smartphone boots on custom XOS skin atop Android 13 Go out of the box. The UI is good but the smartphone does come with bloatware. 

Infinix Smart 8HD review: Battery and Charging

The smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 10W charging. Charging is quite slow and it will take around 4 hours to completely charge the device, which is a lot of time. But you cannot complain much at this price.

The Infinix Smart 8HD comes with a 13MP dual AI camera setup with a quad-LED ring flash. For selfies, it has an 8MP selfie camera with LED flash. The smartphone can click decent images in daylight. Don't expect much from low-light photos.

Infinix Smart 8HD review: Verdict

At this budget, it is one of the best options available in the market. However, an 18W charging would have made it a much better device.
