Huawei's ultra-premium GT5 smartwatch is now available in India. The GT5 smartwatch is available in two variants -  46mm edition for men offered in three colour options - Blue, Brown and Black - and a 41mm edition for women available in five colours - White, Brown, Blue, Gold, and Black. According to the company, the smartwatch is equipped with Huawei’s proprietary TruSense technology for accurate health and fitness tracking, enhanced satellite-based GNSS tracking and a unique emotional wellbeing assistant.

The pricing of the Huawei GT5 smartwatch starts at Rs 18,999, with additional discounts of up to Rs 4,500 available through bank offers and coupons during the pre-booking period. 

The smartwatch comes with prism straps and an ergonomic design. According to the company, the Huawei GT5 smartwatch has been crafted with high-quality materials. 

The GT5 features a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels for both the male and female editions, with 352 PPI for the male and 326 PPI for the female edition. A standout feature of this smartwatch is its focus on emotional well-being, representing a significant advancement in wearable technology. 

It includes more than 10,000 dials in total, with 11 new dynamic watch faces that adapt based on the user’s emotional state. The GT5 is also water-resistant up to 50 meters, making it perfect for aquatic activities.

"Fitness enthusiasts will benefit from pro-level sports tracking for activities such as golf, free diving, and trail running. With built-in offline maps, users can enjoy seamless wrist-based navigation featuring real-time maps and routes, making it ideal for outdoor adventures. The Stay Fit app enables easy tracking of calories and meals, complemented by over 100 workout modes and Activity Rings 2.0 for a comprehensive fitness tracking experience," the company said in a release. 

Additionally, the smartwatch features Huawei’s advanced TruSense system, delivering precise health monitoring. The proprietary Harmony app allows users to take screenshots directly from the watch, make Bluetooth calls and ensures compatibility with both iOS and Android devices.
