Honor 20i launch: Honor 20i is all set to be unveiled in China today, the first smartphone of Honor 20 series. Honor 20i was already up for pre-bookings on the company's retail website - Vmall, that explains Honor 20i specifications. However, the price of Honor 20i has still not been announced and is likely to be revealed in Wednesday's launch event, along with the features, specifications and availability. The Honor 20i has a triple rear camera setup and waterdrop-shaped display on top. The company will also be launching its Honor MagicBook 2019 at the event today. Honor 20i launch live streaming:

Honor will be streaming the launch of Honor 20i live on its website, starting at 3pm CST (12:30pm IST) on Wednesday (17 April 2019). The launch event would be exciting as the company will be revealing the price of the smartphone, as the specifications were already out to public. However, The specifications of Honor 20i suggest that it is expected to get launched in the budget price bracket. The available colour will be Gradient Blue, Gradient Red, and Magic Night Black. It will be available in three variants i.e 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 256GB storage models.

Honor 20i display:

The phone has a waterdrop-style notch display sporting a 6.21-inch full HD+ (1080xx2340 pixels) IPS LCD display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. 

Honor 20i processor: 

The smartphone is powered by Kirin 710 octa-core SoC, supported by a 3,400mAh battery with 10W charging. The hybrid microSD card slot can extend the memory up to 512GB.

Honor 20i camera:

The phone has a triple AI rear camera setup aligned vertically. As far as sensors are concerned, there is one 24-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture, another 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, and a last 2-megapixel depth sensor. Features like AI beauty, night scene mode, portrait mode, professional camera, panorama and more will add up to the features. Up front, the Huawei 20i comes with a 32-megapixel selfie sensor with additional AI beauty features.

Honor 20i security and software:

It comes with a rear fingerprint sensor, and a small chin at the bottom of the phone's display. On the list of specifications, the Honor 20i comes with a hybrid dual-SIM slots, and runs on EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9 Pie software. The Honor 20i has an advance saftey feature, TUV Rheinland certified for eye protection.

For connectivity, the phone will support 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, Micro-USB port, 3.5mm audio jack support, GPS, and more.

The dimensions of the phone are kept at 154.8x73.64x7.95mm, while the phone weighs 164 grams.

Honor 20i expected price:

The specifications of Honor 20i suggest that it is expected to get launched in the budget price bracket of Rs 15,000- Rs 20,000.

Honor on Monday announced that Honor 20 series launch event will take place in London on May 21, and along with the Honor 20i, customers can expect the launch of other smartphones like the Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, and Honor 20A be at the London event.
