Almost three weeks after the Honor 20 series made its global debut, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is set to launch it in India on Tuesday i.e. June 11. The series which includes three smartphones – the Honor 20, the Honor 20 Pro and the Honor 20i – will be launched at an event in New Delhi and will go on sale on e-commerce website Flipkart.

The series is expected to take on the recently launched One Plus 7 series and the Oppo Reno series in India. In what comes as a surprise for Honor fans, the company has also confirmed that it will announce its new tablet on the same date. The tablet named Honor Pad 5 will be launched at the same event along with the smartphones.

Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20i launch Live streaming online

Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20i expected price in India

The premium Honor 20 Pro which is expected to compete with the Oneplus 7 Pro is likely to be priced around Rs 40,000 while the standard Honor 20 might cost around Rs 35,000. The more affordable smartphone of the lot – Honor 20i – is expected to be priced around Rs 20,000. The official prices will be announced at the launched event. 

In London, the Honor 20 Pro was priced at €599 for the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant while the Honor 20 was priced at €499 for the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant. The Honor 20i was announced at €299.

Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20i specifications and features

Both Honor 20 and Honor 20 sport a 6.26-inch 1080 x 2340 LCD display and are powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset. Meanwhile, he Honor 20i comes with a 6.21-inch screen and is powered by octa-core Kirin 710 processor.The first difference between the smartphones is in the battery. The Honor 20 Pro comes with a 4,000 mAh battery, the Honor 20 offers a 3,750 mAh battery while the Honor 20i is powered by a 3,400 mAh battery. 

The Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro sport a quad-camera setup at the rear with the combination of a 16 MP f/2.2 aperture super wide lens + 48 MP f/1.4 aperture primary lens + 8 MP telephoto lens + 2 MP macro focus lens. For selfie, both the phones come with a 32 MP shooter. 

On the rear, the Honor 20i packs a 24-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture; a second 8-megapixel camera and a third 2-megapixel camera. It sports a 32-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.
