Motorola is expected to resurrect the iconic flap-phone Razr and the recent ad campaign suggests that it could be as soon as July 9th.

Recently, even Nokia announced its return to the mobile phone market, giving a filip to the die-hard old school fans. This time, Nokia phones will be powered by the Android operating system.

Here are five iconic Nokia phones we'd like to see back on the shelves again.

1. Nokia 3310:   This was the most iconic Nokia phone to be launched and redefined what it means to be indestructible. Launched in 2000 it was priced at Rs 12,000.The phone was very popular especially in India and went on to sell 125 million worldwide. Nokia also introduced in different variations such as the 3315, 3320, 3330, 3350, 3360, 3390 and 3395.

3. Nokia 7610:   The phone was launched in March 2004 and priced at Rs 15,700. The phone was targeted toward 'fashion conscious' individuals. It also came with pre-installed apps such as Opera Mobile web browser and Kodak Photo sharing.

4. Nokia NGage QD:  The N-Gage QD was a variant of the NGage and was one of the most iconic phones for designed for gamers. It was launched in 2003 and priced at around Rs 15,000. The phone gave tough competition to Nintendo's Game Boy Advance at that time.

5. Nokia E71:    It was one of the first smartphones and was launched in 2008. The Qwerty keyboard phone was targeted towards business users. It enabled users to access their emails through the phone. The phone was also one of the first to be VOIP call enabled. It was priced over Rs 20,000.

The company is expected to reveal its plans regarding the phone on June 9 and shared has no further details.

The Moto Razr V3 was the most expensive yester-year phone with a price tag of Rs 31,000 in 2004.
