The Facebook-owned messenger application, WhatsApp, which has more than 100 crore active users has been introducing new features on its platform.

WhatsApp has now introduced 'call back' feature after launching voice calling feature last year.

The feature is available to Android Beta user on WhatsApp version 2.16.189. With this feature, if the recipient declines the call on WhatsApp, the user will now get three options- cancel, call back and record voice messages.

Along with 'Call Back' feature, here are the 9 other new features which are lined up:

Voice Mail: With this feature, the user can send the voice mails to their friends.To use this, long press the mic icon next to text box. The feature is available on both one-on-one and groups. The user can quote someone's message during the conversation, Northbridge Times reported.

New Fonts: With the updated version of WhatsApp, the user will now see new font which will add new experience in messaging. WhatsApp rival, Hike, already has feature, which allows users to change the font of the text.

Music Sharing: WhatsApp likely to add music-sharing feature to its app. With this feature, the user may share music stored on their device along with from Apple Music service. This feature likely to debut first on iOS devices.

End-to-End encryption: Amid rising cyber hacking cases, this feature will add security to the messages. Encryption will ensure only sender and receiver can see the messages and no third party can read them. Similarly, WhatsApp calls too will be encrypted end-to-end stopping others to listen them.

GIF Support: Most popular on social networking sites, WhatsApp which already let you share .jpg format image, will may allow you to share GIF in the latest version. The feature likely to be used on the iOS beta WhatsApp version.

Video calling: After introducing in the beta version, WhatApp had pulled down the video calling feature in the updated version. But WhatsApp may introduce video calling feature again. 

Big emoji: Based on Apple's upcoming iOS 10 launch, this feature will allow the user to send bigger emojis to make chatting more fun.

Group invites and mention: To grab users attention in the group conversation, with this feature, the name may show in different text. Also, this will help in sending the group joining request as it will act as a link.

Quotes: With this feature, a user may quote somebody's message while replying. The user may have to select the message which they want to reply to, and press send, a Time of India report said.
