Guess what! You can recharge at Airtel, shop at Flipkart and pay later; this is what LazyPay offers
Flipkart customers will be able to get another EMI option for their orders. Even though Flipkart already has its own 'Pay Later' option that was introduced earlier this year but this option was for only selected purchases.
LazyPay, one of India's best pay later option has now announced its partnership with Airtel and Flipkart. The company tied up with Airtel and Flipkart to promote its 'Buy Now Pay Later' Model in the country. LazyPay is accepted across 100 plus merchants to meet the financial needs of every customer. PayU launched LazyPay in April last year.
According to a report by Gadgets 360, LazyPay is claimed to have 35 per cent of growth in month-on-month basis. The company also claims that the number of users are over 100 merchants and have achieved more than a million downloads. LazyPay also touted to witness more than a million transactions per month.
Flipkart customers will be able to get another EMI option for their orders. Even though Flipkart already has its own 'Pay Later' option that was introduced earlier this year but this option was for only selected purchases.
In case of Airtel, interestingly, a customer can recharge and choose to pay later. This facility is not available for Airtel's postpaid bills.
Reportedly, LazyPay started offering personal loans and installment loans on merchant checkout this year in August. The platform claimed to have already disbursed close to 6,000 loans to its customers and received nearly 8,000 to 9,000 applications per day for personal loans.
Pallav Jain, Head-Consumer Business, PayU India, in a press statement said "In a short time of one and a half year, more than a million customers are using LazyPay, Not only that, we have seen more than Rs. 200 crores worth of credit disbursals through us."
He also adds that "I'm glad that our team is able to successfully serve our customers and merchant partners! We will continue to be innovative and address pain points of customers to make credit more accessible, convenient and faster."
