Your Google account is set to change with the search engine giant bringing a new update. On Monday, Google said that it will combine G Suite users' Gmail photos with their Google account profile photos. This means that both the accounts will have same image from now on. The new update will be implemented starting Monday and will be made available to all users over the next few days.
Once the new feature is rolled out, Google users will have to change their account image from a new window. The users of Google's suite of tools for business that want to change their picture in Gmail, will be led to the "About me" section of their Google profile settings.
Once the users are into the Settings menu, they need to click on General. From here, they need to look for My Picture option to set the new image. By clicking on this, users will be directed to the About me section of their Google account. If you currently have two different images on your Gmail and Google accounts, you'll be asked to choose one. That image will reflect on both the accounts from now on.

In case you want to apply a completely new image, you will be allowed to upload it from About me settings.
Currently, photos set in Gmail don't extend to users' Google accounts. According to the tech giant, this can be confusing as both the accounts reflect different images. It aims to solve this problem as the new feature will allow users to set a single profile picture in one place, which will be shown across all Google apps.
