The tech giant is expected to launch a new range of attractive products, including the Google Pixel 8 smartphone series and the Pixel Watch 2. Google is also expected to officially announce its Android 14 operating system at the event.

Features of Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro
While there are a range of products lined up for launch, Google's Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro would grab the spotlight at the October 4 event. Both models are expected to feature significant upgrades compared to their predecessors, Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. According to reports, the Pixel 8 Pro is anticipated to maintain the standard display of 6.7 inches while the Pixel 8 device is expected to be released with a 6.17-inch display.
In addition, significant camera upgrades can be expected as Pixel 8 Pro is anticipated to be equipped with a 50 MP wide lens and a 48 MP telephoto lens. The device is expected to come with a 48 MP ultrawide lens with Macro Focus, along with a body temperature reading feature. On the other hand, the Pixel 8 phone is expected to have a 50 MP wide lens along with a 12 MP ultrawide with Macro Focus. Moreover, it is anticipated that both models would boast AI-based editing features, including DSLR-style controls and Magic Editor.
The Google Pixel 8 series smartphones are said to be powered by the tech behemoth's new Tensor G3 chip. The Pixel 8 model is expected to have 8 GB RAM while Pixel 8 Pro likely to feature 12 GB RAM. The display is anticipated to be equipped with a variable refresh rate of a maximum of 120Hz. In addition, Google might provide software support for up to seven years for these devices.
Google Pixel 8 is expected to come in three colour variants of black, grey, and pink, while the Pixel 8 Pro could be available in black, porcelain, and sky blue variants.
Expected price of Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro
The official prices for Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are still under wraps. However, according to rumours, the starting price for Pixel 8 is expected to be $699 (nearly Rs 58,000). On the contrary, Pixel 8 Pro could have a starting price of $999 (approx Rs 83,000).
