Google Pixel 7a release date in India: Google has finally confirmed the launch date of its much-awaited smartphone - Google Pixel 7a. The 'budget' smartphone will be unveiled at Google I/O 2023. The company has also confirmed that the smartphone will be available on the e-commerce platform Flipkart.

The announcement in this regard has been by Google on via its Twitter handle. The tech major also teased an image of the device of the phone that look like a shade of blue colour. According to reports, the smartphone will be available in at least three more colours - black, white and coral.

There are reports that suggest the display of Google Pixel 7a is expected to have a refresh rate of 90Hz. The device is likely to offer a 90Hz 1080p display, reports Android Authority. On an A-series smartphone, this refresh rate would be the highest ever.

Also, the smartphone may have a wireless charging feature. Reports suggest it may support 5W wireless charging.

Google Pixel 7a is expected to have a significant camera upgrade. Reports suggest that the smartphone will come with a 50MP primary camera, 64MP telephoto camera and 12MP ultrawide camera. Also, the device may have an updated camera bar design.

Google Pixel 7a release date in India: 8GB RAM

Google Pixel 7a is likely to be equipped with 8GB of RAM. Some leaked images were doing the rounds and suggested that the smartphone will be equipped with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. For the uninitiated, that's up from the 6GB of RAM offered by last year's Pixel 6a.

The device is expected to feature a single SIM slot, USB-C for charging and some waterproofing around the SIM tray.
