Google Photos Big Update! Here's how it works

Users can begin using this feature by accessing the setting option of the application to remove specific people from showing up in Memories on Google Photos. Users then need to tap on Preferences, go to Memories, and choose ‘Hide people and pets”.

This process will make sure that the faces of individuals whom you want to hide from Photos won’t appear in your creations, memories, or search results, without deleting or eliminating any photos these individuals appear in. The latest upgrade has surely modernized this whole process and made it far more easy and simple to use.

As per a report, Google has streamlined this whole process by decreasing the number of steps. Users will be able to remove faces by opening a photo, swiping to the Metadata segment, and clicking the three dots in the People segment. From there, they can choose the option to remove the face. The new upgrade lets users either minimize the frequency of a person's presence or totally avert them from popping up in any photo memories.
