Tech giant Google has launched a new program for its flagship device - Google Pixel 3, under which it offers the customers a chance to get an instant discount of Rs 7,000 on the smartphone. This is a referral program that has been launched in partnership with Flipkart and is valid till December 20 for all Google Nexus and Pixel device owners.
As part of the program, Google Nexus and Pixel owners can refer the new Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL smartphones to people they know. If the referred person purchases any of these devices, both will get incentives. While the person who makes the purchase gets an instant discount of Rs 7,000, the referred person will get a free Flipkart voucher worth Rs 2,000.
The program is valid till December 20 and the coupon codes granted to the referrers will be valid till December 24.
Here is how to get discount through Google Pixel 3 referral program:
1. To grab this offer, Google Nexus or Google Pixel users will have to log in to the Flipkart app where they will come across the banner for the Pixel 3 referral program.
2. The users need to tap on this banner and will be directed to a new page, listing all the benefits and the terms and conditions.
3. They will be asked to enter their email address to participate in the program.
4. They will then receive a mail from Flipkart with the link to be referred.
Google Pixel 3 price and specifications
Pixel 3 has been priced at Rs 71,000 in India for the 64GB variant while the cost of 128GB variant goes up to Rs 80,000. Meanwhile, Pixel 3 has been priced at Rs 83,000 for the 64GB variant while the cost of 128GB variant is Rs 92,000. Both the devices are available in Just Black, Clearly White and Not Pink colour options.
The Pixel 3 comes with a 5.5 inch Fullscreen FHD+ flexible OLED display with a resolution of 1080*2160p and has an aspect ratio of 18:9. It measures 145.6mm x 68.2mm x 7.9mm and weighs 148 grams. Pixel 3 XL, on the other hand, comes with a 6.3 inch Fullscreen QHD+ OLED notch-display with a 1440*2960p resolution and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It measures 158.0mm x 76.7mm x 7.9mm and weighs 184 grams.
Both the smartphones run on octa-core Snapdragon 845 processors with a clock rate of 2.5 GHz.
