The tech giant Google has announced a few new features for Android that will not be restricted to Pixel models. The company asserts that these new tools will elevate how users work with tablets and smartphones. A few new features will also transform users’ experience with OS-powered watches. Newly launched five tools will improve the way of using accessibility tools and searching for new places and music.

TalkBack: This tool is suitable for low-vision or blind individuals who find it hard to use digital content.  With this new feature, such individuals can receive descriptions of digital content via voice mode. Talkback utilizes the Gemini AI model to explain pictures or other digital content. 

Music-identification tool: Google has introduced The ‘circle to search’ tool that helps users find music just by listening to the song track. Along with the song, users also receive YouTube links to watch the song along with the title and singer's name. Users can just hum the song while long-pressing the voice search in Google to use this feature. 

Hear your web page explain: Google has unveiled a new tool in Chrome that reads out digital content for users. Moreover, it also lets users change the language, speed, and voice of the audio at their convenience. 

Earthquake Alerts System: Google says that the Earthquake alert system has been designed to alert users before an earthquake hits. This tool utilizes instantaneous data from Android devices for identifying earthquakes in real time. Additionally, it warns users about areas where earthquakes can majorly affect. 

Extension of the usage of Google Maps in Wear OS watches: Now users will be able to use maps in offline mode. At times, it is too tedious to check maps constantly on the smartphone, particularly during travel. Similarly, it can be hard to monitor directions if the internet connectivity is poor. This new tool will assist users in navigating maps in such conditions. Users can download the map in their Wear OS watches and seek help from it even if they are travelling through poor network regions. Google Maps has also included two shortcuts such as You can search places using voice commands and You can track your current location with a tap on your watch face
