Chinese mobile manufacturer, Xiaomi has been offering discounts to its customers through sales on various occasions. Now, with its 4th Anniversary in India coming up from July 10, the company has yet another excuse to celebrate with its consumers whose numbers are soaring. The mobile manufacturer  will be providing offers and discounts on several products on this occasion.  One such product to get a discount is Redmi 5A. The smartphone has been put on sale at 12 pm today on Flipkart .

Both the variants of Redmi 5A - 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM and 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM are available for sale in four colour options: Blue, Gold, Rose Gold and Grey and  are priced at Rs 5,999 and Rs 6,999 respectively.

Redmi 5A features a 5-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor with Android-based MIUI 9 out-of-the-box operating system.

The smartphone comes with 2GB/3GB RAM , a 13MP rear front camera with f/2.2 aperture  and a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture .

Besides, what makes this dual-SIM smartphone unique is its 8-day long battery life as it is  backed by a 3000mAh battery, though it is lower than its predecessor, the Redmi 4A battery life. It comes with a card slot with upto 128GB of expandable storage. The device also features all the basic wireless communication including  4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and micro-USB.
