The annual fee for the family subscription is Rs 1,490 and it allows a user to share it with up to four additional accounts. This means five users can use the benefits by paying Rs 1,490 - which will be around Rs 25 per month.

Meanwhile, Truecaller has launched blue tick verification for all Premium users in India. The new Verified Badge service allows users to verify their identity through the government-backed Unified Payments Interface (UPI) to confirm their correct names.

"We believe this is a significant step forward in our vision of making communication safer for everyone. This is starting in India but will roll out to other countries soon. With this launch, Truecaller could very well become one of the most trusted identifiers of user profiles globally," the company had said.

Earlier, the company announced AI Call Scanner which is trained to detect and differentiate between human voices and AI-synthesized voices, empowering people to safeguard themselves against potential scams and fraudulent

The AI Call Scanner is built right into the Truecaller Android app, is part of the Premium subscription.
