If you are planning to buy anything under Flipkart's latest sale, then you might want to have a proper understanding of the various HDFC Bank offers.

HDFC Bank's offer has already began from 0000 hours of December 06, and will end on 2359 hours of December 08.

A maximum discount of Rs 1500 per card will be given on a minimum transaction of Rs 4,999.

It needs to be noted that,  If a Customer has availed discount on grocery items of INR 200, then customer shall only be eligible to get remaining discount of Rs 1300 during the said offer period.

Similarly, if a Customer has availed discount on any eligible product excluding grocery of INR 1000, then customer shall only be eligible to get remaining discount of Rs 500 on grocery items during the said offer period.

There is also a no cost EMI offer available for HDFC Bank customers.

Under this offer, customer will get a discount upfront equal to the EMI interest cost charged by HDFC Bank.

The offer will be applied to the Net Cart Value (NCV). The minimum NCV to avail this Offer is Rs 3,000. NCV shall mean the total value of only the eligible product/s in the cart after all applicable discounts and exchange offer redemptions.

How to avail No Cost EMI offer?

Step 1 - Check on the product page for No Cost EMI availability.

Step 2 - Select the product you wish to purchase.

Step 3 - Check No Cost EMI offers under Easy Payment Options.

Step 4 - Complete the purchase.

Step 5 - Select EMI option on payment page.

How does the EMI option work?

Initially your credit card limit will be blocked for the full purchase amount. This will be converted into EMI by bank in the next 4-7 working days.

For example: If you purchase a product of Rs 12,000 at a 3 month EMI plan and the interest charged by your bank is Rs 600. Then the interest amount of Rs 600 will be given as instant discount and you will only pay Rs 11,400 during payment.

However, there is a catch, as the discount of Rs 600 will be given as an instant discount upfront during payment. Total amount paid to the bank for the product will be equal to the price of the product as the interest charged by the bank has already been given as discount during the payment.

Simply put, you will not have to pay any interest but just the principal amount which would be the actual price of product.
Hence, before using your HDFC Bank credit card make sure you are aware of these terms and conditions.
