Five top 4G enabled smartphones priced under Rs 5,000
With 4G being rolled out by many operators in India it is something to look at even when going in for a low cost smartphone. By low cost, I mean the sub Rs 5,000 smartphone segment.
Smartphones are no longer out of reach for a majority of the Indian population as many companies are coming out with cheaper options with good specifications. Recently we saw Freedom 251 start delivering the cheapest smartphone and launch a few phones, one among them which included a 4G smartphone.
With 4G being rolled out by many operators in India it is something to look at even when going in for a low cost smartphone. By low cost, I mean the sub Rs 5,000 smartphone segment.
Here are 5 smartphones in the Rs 5,000 segment with 4G support:
1. Reliance Jio's LYF Flame smartphone: Flame comes in four models, ie Flame 3, Flame 4, Flame 5 and Flame 6 was launched on July 7 comes at an attractive price tag of Rs 2,999. The 4G smartphone is equipped with VoLTE for HD video calling, 1.5 GHz Quad core processor, 5 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera, Dragontrail Glass, 4-inch WVGA display, 512MB RAM and come with 4GB and 8GB storage (expandable). With these specifications this smartphone makes top end specifications available at the lowest possible cost.
2. Lenovo A2010: Lenovo was launched in September 2015 but is one of the best and cheapest 4G Android smartphones in India. The phones is priced at Rs 4,990. It comes with a 4.5 inch display, 1.1GHz Quad core processor, 5 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera, 8GB storage, 1 GB RAM and 2000 mAh battery.

3. Ringing Bells' Elegant 4G: The company that has been focused to get a smartphone in the hand of every India and has been riddled with controversy, recently launched the Elegant 4G. The smartphone with 4G capabilities is available at Rs 4,999. Some of the specifications of the phone includes one of the largest screen in this segment with a 5-inch HD display, 1 GB DDR3 RAM, 1.3 GHz Quad core processor, 8 MP rear camera and 3.2 MP front camera, 2,800 mAh battery.

4. Infocus Bingo 10: The smartphone was launched in March this year is the best options priced at Rs 4,299. Some of the specifications include a 4.5 inch display, 1.3 GHz Quad core processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage (expandable to 32 GB), 5 MP rear and front camera, 2000 mAh battery and 4G capabilities.

5. Philcomm Energy 653: The 5 inch display smartphone comes at a price of Rs 4,999. It is one of the lighter and thinner smartphones in this segment. It is equipped with 1.1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 Quad core processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 2230 mAh battery and 4G support.
