Noting that X will go on to transform the global marketplace, she added, "X is the future state of unlimited interactivity – centered in audio, video, messaging, payments/banking – creating a global marketplace for ideas, goods, services, and opportunities. Notably, it is speculated that the change comes as a part of Musk's larger plan for a super app. After the $44 billion acquisition of Twitter in October 2022, he merged the company into an entity called X Corp, further hinting about building Twitter into an everything app called X.
Netizens divided over new Twitter logo
As soon as the announcement was made, netizens stormed the microblogging platform to share their reactions to the new logo. While a large section of users hugely rejected the change, some are ready to bid adieu to the Blue Bird. Many users also shared creative ideas for the new logo.
