Samsung recently announced the launch of its 2023 line-up of WindFree ACs. The new range includes Welcome Cooling, Motion Detection Sensor, Voice Control along with Wi-Fi-enabled models with AI Auto Cooling that saves up to 77 per cent energy. Samsung’s Wi-Fi-enabled air conditioners, including those from the WindFree series, now offer AI Energy Mode. This intelligent cooling feature uses AI to analyse the user’s preferred temperature and room condition before switching to the most effective mode and conserving up to 20 per cent of energy. The WindFree Good Sleep mode creates an ideal environment without an unpleasant cold air flow thereby saving up to 69 per cent energy compared to the normal cooling mode. Some models are equipped with an in-built air purifier having a PM 2.5 filter. Priced at Rs 35,599 and onwards, the new line-up is available across all leading offline and online stores, including Amazon, Flipkart, and Samsung.com. 

Godrej Hot and Cold AC

As the name implies, the new AC from Godrej offers both hot and cold air, making it an all-weather favourite. According to the company, the AC can handle high temperatures up to 50 degrees and sub-zero temperatures as low as -7 degrees. It uses Quick Defrost Technology for a shorter defrost cycle, and its 5-in-1 Convertible Technology gives 5 different cooling levels to set the desired cooling/heating requirement based on the weather, the number of people in the room, and the user’s personal temperature preference. The Hot and Cool AC from Godrej is priced at Rs 65,900, and is available across India in all stores.

Godrej Leak Proof AC

Godrej Appliances has launched what the company claims to be 'India's first leak-proof split AC’. According to the company, these new models are designed to offer a permanent solution to problems like water leakage, health problems, and the aesthetics of consumers' homes.  These new ACs also offer other features such as the 5-in-1 Convertible Cooling technology, i-sense technology and inverter technology that help with power savings. These ACs will soon be available for Rs 48,900 across stores and popular e-commerce platforms in the country.

Haier Kinouchi 5 Star Heavy–Duty Pro AC series

Haier has launched its new line of air conditioners in India under the Kinouchi 5-Star Heavy Duty Pro series. These ACs have new intelligent features like Frost Self-Clean Technology and the Smart Convertible Feature, among others. Voice commands can be used to operate the new air conditioners on a smartphone or other smart devices like Alexa or Google Home. Users can download the Smart Haier App on their phones and create a 7-day cooling schedule, receive alerts when it’s time to clean or replace filters, and even keep track of their daily energy usage. Haier Kinouchi Heavy Duty Pro 5-Star Air conditioner Series starts at Rs 47,990 and will be available on the firm’s e-commerce store, Flipkart, Amazon, and other retail outlets.

Realme 4-in-1 Convertible Inverter AC

The new Realme 4-in-1 AC supports Flexi Control technology, which permits users to control the AC at different capacities as per the number of people in the room. Realme has also added a 100% copper condenser and inner grooved copper tubes for better heat transfer, and the Blue Fin Technology to protect the coils. There is support for built-in circuits, eliminating the need for a dedicated stabilizer. The new Realme 4-in-1 convertible ACs are currently available at Rs 29,999 for the 1.0-ton model and Rs 34,499 for the 1.5-ton model. It will be available for purchase exclusively via Flipkart.
