Earlier reports suggested that the launch is likely to take place in March next year. The device, inspired by the iPhone XR, is expected to sport a 6.1-inch display with thinner bezels.
After the successful launch of its latest iPhone 16 series, comprising the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, Apple is set to release its next set of devices, including the iPhone SE 4, iPads, and more. Seen as the company’s budget-friendly option, this segment has not seen a launch since 2022.
Some reports suggest that the iPhone SE 4 will be ditching the home button and will sport an edge-to-edge display, similar to the iPhone 14. The phone will also sport a notch at the top, encompassing the selfie camera and other sensors. Additionally, the iPhone SE 4 is set to be integrated with Apple Intelligence, making it an attractive option among budget-friendly devices.

With a modern design, the iPhone SE 4 may also get the Face ID functionality, replacing the Touch ID, signalling a major update compared to previous SE models. The device is likely to be available in multiple colour options, including white, red, and black.
It may be powered by the A16 Bionic chip, ensuring faster and smoother performance. Additionally, it is expected to come in different storage variants, ranging from 64GB to 256GB, and will feature 5G network connectivity. The camera capabilities are also expected to undergo significant improvements.
Notably, the new device is slated to get a 4500mAh, ensuring longer battery life. The combination of the enhanced battery with the A16 Bionic chip will take the user experience to the next level, supported by fast charging speeds.
It is rumoured that the iPhone SE 4 will be priced at Rs 45,990 in the Indian market. However, it should be noted that the price may vary depending on country-specific taxes as well as storage variants.
