Cyber Security: How to create strong password? Check these 5 steps explained by Digital India
Digital India via its official Twitter account has said that passwords provide the first line of defence against unauthorized access to your computer and personal information.
As digitalization in India has got a boost, most of the crucial and important details of a person is stored in computers and smartphones. Because of this the threats of cybercrimes are also increasing. One should be aware of the cybercrime threats and take precautions against them in advance in order to stay protected.

It has also shared 5 basic steps to create strong passwords. Here is how you can create a strong and secure password:
1. Use passwords of at least 8 characters.
2. Use a combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
3. Avoid using people's or pet's names.
4. Avoid using key dates (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.)
5. Make it look like a series of random characters.
In another tweet Digital India has said that two factor authentication or 2FA is an extra layer of protection used to ensure the security of online accounts.

The State Bank of India (SBI), time and again, reminds its customers against the threats of cybercrime and suggests ways and means to avoid such unfortunate incidents.
Earlier in the month of August, the State Bank of India had also alerted its customers for frauds and had given 8 tips to create strong password.
