Asus ZenFone Zoom S dual camera smartphone launched in India at Rs 26,999

Asus announced the launch of its latest smartphone on Thursday called the ZenFone Zoom S. The key highlight of the latest offering from Asus is the camera and is said to be the Indian version of the ZenFone 3 Zoom. The Asus ZenFone Zoom S was launched in India for Rs 26,999 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart.
The Asus ZenFone Zoom S comes with a dual camera setup with 12 megapixel rear cameras with a 2.3X true optical zoom and 12X total zoom. While one of the cameras has a Sony IMX362 sensor with f/1.7-aperture, 25mm wide-angle main lens, the second camera too has a 12 megapixel zoom sensor with 2.3X true optical zoom and 12X of total zoom.
The front camera is fitted with a Asus 13 megapixel Sony IMX214 SuperPixel Camera which allows people to shoot at night-time and in low-light situations. This Asus claims is greater than the Apple iPhone 7 Plus.
Other specification of the Asus ZenFone Zoom S comes with a huge 5000mAh battery which is expected to give 6.4 hours of continuous 4K UHD video recording and 42 days of standby time. They also claim that the smartphone can work as a power bank to charge other devices.
The ZenFone Zoom S has a full metal body and a 5.5 inch Full HD AMOLED display. Despite the massive battery the ZenFone Zoom S is the world's thinnest. The display is further protected with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The Asus ZenFone Zoom S is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and comes with a 5-Magnet speaker for the music system.
It has a fingerprint sensor which is placed on the back side of the phone.
