Joining the long list of smartphone manufacturers that have dropped flagships over the last few days, Asus has launched its ZenFone 6 globally. Priced at Euro 499 (approximately Rs 39,000), the smartphone comes with a fullscreen display with slim bezels and no notch, made possible with the help of Flip Camera. The module allows users to use rear cameras for front camera duties. Apart from the unique rear cameras, the ZenFone 6 also gets a Snapdragon 855 chipset and up to 8GB RAM. It has been powered by a bigger 5000mAh battery with support Quick Charge 4.0.

The smartphones comes with a 6.4-inch full HD+ display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. The phone will be available in two variants - 6GB and 8GB RAM that are coupled with 64GB, 128GB or 256GB storage. On the front, ut has a 48-megapixel primary camera along with a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera. The rear camera is flipped to take selfies. The camera module house the earpiece, various sensors and the two cameras. 

The module is made of Liquid Metal to provide its additional strength and offers free angle control with a minimum angle variation of 2 degrees. Additionally, the module will retract automatically if it detects a drop. It retains the 3.5mm headphone jack, unlike most of the other flagships. 

ZenFone 6 runs on new ZenUI 6 which is based on Android 9 Pie. It will be launched in India later this year.

The smartphone has been launched in two colour variants - Twilight Silver and Midnight Black. Asus Zenfone 6 price for base variant of 6GB RAM and 64GB storage is Euro 499 (approximately Rs 39,000). The second variant comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, priced at Euro 559 (approximately Rs 44,000) while the third variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage comes for Euro 599 (approximately Rs 47,000).
