Apple WWDC 2023 date and time: The Worldwide Developers Conference or WWDC is an annual developer conference hosted by Apple. This year, the event is scheduled for June 5 and will start tonight. Usually, the tech major showcases new operating systems (OS) for iPhones, iPads, smart watches and others, but this year it is going to be quite special as the Cupertino-based company is likely to showcase an array of exciting new hardware.

Following the trend, the tech major is expected to showcase iOS 17, macOS 14, WatchOS 10, iPadOS 17, and tvOS 17.  

We may also see the introduction of xrOS -- Apple's new operating system for its much-awaited Reality AR/VR headset. The software-focused event could also introduce fans to new Macs, including a 15-inch MacBook Air with M2 SoC. Also, Apple may eventually unveil its mixed reality headset after years of rumours and leaks.

Apple's headset is projected to cost roughly $3,000, so it won't be cheap.

Apple WWDC 2023: Venue

Apple has confirmed that this year's WWDC keynote is slated for Monday, June 5 at 10:30 PM IST. June 9 marks the conclusion of the developer event. It will take place as a digital and in-person event at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, with Apple CEO Tim Cook expected to kick things off.

Apple will stream the WWDC 2023 keynote live from its website and YouTube channel.

While premium products like a new MacBook Air and a mixed reality (MR) headset will be unveiled during the five-day developers' event, Apple will not unveil any smartphones. The tech major is bracing for the launch of the iPhone 15, which is expected to be announced later this year.
