"Tracker Detect looks for item trackers that are separated from their owner and that are compatible with Apple’s Find My network. These item trackers include AirTag and compatible devices from other companies. If you think someone is using AirTag or another device to track your location, you can scan to try to find it," Apple wrote on Google's Play Store.

Apple said the app enables Android users to proactively scan for item trackers that are no longer with their owner. If such a tracker has been moving with the user for more than 10 minutes, the app will help locate it by playing a sound and provide guidance to disable it.

AirTag is a small and elegantly designed iPhone accessory that helps keep track of and find the items that matter most with Apple's Find My app. Whether attached to a handbag, keys, backpack, or other items, AirTag taps into the vast, global 'Find My' network and can help locate a lost item, all while keeping location data private and anonymous with end-to-end encryption.

AirTag is small and lightweight and features precision-etched polished stainless steel, and is IP67 water- and dust-resistant. A built-in speaker plays sounds to help locate AirTag, while a removable cover makes it easy for users to replace the battery.
