The much awaited Apple iPhone 15 launch is just a day away. The tech giant is expected to launch the iPhone 15 series at the Apple Event scheduled on Tuesday, September 12. It's expected that the company would introduce four models in the latest series, namely, the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. However, some rumours indicate that there could be an iPhone 15 Ultra model too.

Apart from iPhone 15 series, Apple is also expected to launch Apple Watch series and iOS update, though details of product launch have not been revealed about the company yet.

It’s speculated that the features of iPhone 15 could be completely different from iPhone 14 and other models. The latest iPhone model is said to come packed with advanced components that could outshine the other products in the lineup.

How is iPhone 15 different from iPhone 14?

There have been numerous reports that suggest iPhone 15 could be different from iPhone 14 in several parameters. Here’s is a look at expected advanced features of iPhone 15:

•        USB Type-C port: The most significant in the iPhone model this year could be the shift to a USB Type-C port. This has created a buzz among Apple fans as after 11 years, the tech giant would introduce the USB Type-C port that will enable users to charge the iPhone using chargers of other brands as well.

•        Dynamic Island: Apple had incorporated its new "notch”, the Dynamic Island in iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. However, this time iPhone 15's base models, like iPhone 15 and iPhone Plus, are also anticipated to be equipped with the Dynamic Island, which is a pill-shaped interactive cutout that features live activities.

•        Battery: The iPhone 15 is expected to be equipped with a 3,877mAh battery, which is more powerful than iPhone 14's 3,279mAh battery. However, this is only speculation and the exact battery capacity could vary in the official launch.

•        Camera Quality: iPhone 15 could possibly see a camera upgrade and might feature a 48MP Sony sensor with enhanced low-light performance. It'll be a huge advancement considering the 12MP cameras that the existing models have, including iPhone 14. Therefore, the camera quality would increase manifold.

•        A16 Bionic chipset: The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models could be equipped with A16 Bionic chipset, which is currently featured in iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. It could be  a significant upgrade as iPhone 14's base models featured the A15 Bionic chipset.
