Amazon Prime Day: Here’s how you can get HDFC Bank discount and cashback offers
Any Prime member who purchases products from Amazon during the sale, and makes payment using HDFC Bank debit and credit cards will be eligible for various other offers.
The e-commerce giant Amazon has launched its Prime Day sale from today onward giving best deals right from clothing to electronics to latest smartphones. This event will continue till midnight of July 17. Apart from new launches, Amazon is also offering thousands of deals on Mobiles, TVs, Laptops, Appliances, Fashion and Everyday Essentials at the lowest prices of the year. Also for the first time on Prime Day, members can shop from hundreds of deals from Amazon’s international selection. Not only this, even HDFC Bank is not far away in enhancing its customer base and giving best deals to them. The bank has joined hands with Amazon is giving instant discount and cashback offers exclusively to Prime members.
Any Prime member who makes a purchase from Amazon during sale time, and makes payment using HDFC Bank debit and credit card will be eligible for other offers.
HDFC Bank offers vary depending on the purchase amount.
For instance, if your total amount of purchases stands below Rs 50,000, then you will be eligible for 10% discount which comes maximum up to Rs 1,750 on the card.
While for shoppings made above Rs 50,000, then you not only get Rs 1,750 instant discount from HDFC Bank but also 10% cashback on order value. This leads to a total saving of up to Rs 10,000.
How can I avail this offer?
Shop as usual with your HDFC Bank Debit Card or Credit Card to pay. As long as Rs 3,000 or more is charged to your HDFC Bank Debit Card or Credit Card while making a purchase on amazon.in/Amazon App, you will get an Instant Discount on the purchase.
For purchases made on Prime Now App, Amazon Global Store and Card payment on COD transactions, customer would get cashback instead of Instant Discount. For such cases, the same instant discount offer as mentioned above would apply.
Purchases above Rs 50,000
For purchases above Rs 50,000, customer can save 10% of order value, up to a maximum savings of Rs 10,000. Customer will get instant discount of Rs 1,750, and can get a maximum cashback of Rs 8,250.
Example 1: Order value- INR 50,000: Instant Discount of INR 1,750 and cashback of INR 3,250
Example 2: Order value- INR 60,000: Instant Discount of INR 1,750 and cashback of INR 4,250
Example 3: Order value of INR 100,000 and above: Instant Discount of INR 1,750 and cashback of INR 8,250.
The applicable cash back under this Offer will be credited to the eligible customer’s Bank account linked with HDFC Bank Debit Card or Credit Card latest by September 17, 2018.
If payment made using Amazon Pay?
This HDFC Bank offer is available for customers who used payment method via Amazon Pay.
Also, to avail instant discount, your HDFC Card should be charged for a minimum amount of Rs 3,000. For example, if total transaction amount is Rs 8000, and Rs 1,000 is paid using Amazon Pay Balance and Rs 7,000 is paid using HDFC Card, then instant discount would be given on Rs 7,000 and not Rs 8,000. Similarly, if Rs 7,000 is paid using APay balance and Rs 1,000 is paid using HDFC Card, then customer would not get any discount because the amount paid using HDFC Card is less than Rs 3,000.
