Customers can now pre-book their favourite products just for Re 1 between October 4 and October 6 ahead of the Amazon Great Indian Festival. Amazons pre-booking scheme allows customers to avail this facility along with other offers and discounts.
Shoppers have always looked forward to the Amazon Great Indian Festival, which comes with attractive offers and discounts on a wide range of products. The Amazon Great Indian Festival 2023 is starting from October 8 and the e-commerce giant has already revealed several offers and discounts. Ahead of the festive sale, Amazon has introduced a pre-booking scheme where the customers can book smartphones and other products for as low as Re 1 and purchase it later.
The customers need to complete the purchase of the pre-booked product during the redemption window. The pre-booking option is available from October 4 to October 6.
How does the Amazon pre-booking scheme work?
Amazon offers the customers to pre-book smartphones and other products for as low as Re 1. The smartphones can be pre-booked between 12 AM on October 4 and 10 AM on October 6, while other products can be pre-booked between 12 AM on October 5 and 6 AM on October 6.
The customers should purchase the orders during the redemption window. The pre-booking scheme has been launched to guarantee early availability of the product during the ‘redemption window’ before the start of the ‘Great Freedom Festival’, according to Amazon.
The redemption window for mobile phones is from 12PM to midnight on October 6 while for other products the redemption will be allowed between 8PM to midnight.
The customers are allowed to choose Cash on Delivery (CoD) or Credit Card, Debit Card, Payment Wallets, Net-banking or E-Gift Vouchers, to complete the purchase during the redemption window. The pre-booking can be combined with other offers and discounts.
What products on Amazon can be pre-booked at Re 1?
All products listed under the Great Indian Festival sale can be pre-booked ahead of the actual sale. However, while most products can be pre-booked by just paying Re 1, some products may need a pre-payment of Rs 99 to reserve the product.
The customers are allowed to reserve multiple products at a time under the pre-booking scheme.
How to cancel pre-booked items
You can cancel a pre-booked order by following the a few steps:
1. Go to the product detail page on the app Amazon.in.
2. Go through the "manage pre-bookings" link.
3. Select 'Cancel Pre-booking.'
4. Click "Yes, Cancel pre-booking" to confirm the cancellation.
If you cancel your booking, the pre-booking amount will be returned to the account from which you made the initial payment.
