Amazon, Flipkart offers Rs 4,000 discount on Apple Red iPhone 7, 7 Plus

Apple's special edition Red iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are now available in India on Amazon and Flipkart at a discounted price of Rs 4,000 on each model. This offer is however for a limited period only.

Both these e-commerce websites are selling the 128GB variant of both models in India. With the discount the red iPhone 7 is currently on sale for Rs 66,000 and iPhone 7 Plus variant for Rs 78,000.

Apple announced the launch of a Red colour variant of the iPhone 7 annd iPhone 7 Plus in support to build an AIDS-free generation in the US.

“Since we began working with (RED) 10 years ago, our customers have made a significant impact in fighting the spread of AIDS through the purchase of our products, from the original iPod nano (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition all the way to today’s lineup of Beats products and accessories for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO.

The company made the special edition RED iPhone which was available to order online worldwide and in stores beginning Friday, March 24.

The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus were launched in India last year and made its way to India in early November. They were available in in jet black, black, silver, gold and rose gold colours.
