Ahead of Amazon Prime Day, Flipkart now unveils ‘Big Shopping Days’ sale on same day; know best deals
The Flipkart’s sale is divided in four categories namely Blockbuster deals (where offers are refreshed every 8 hours), Price Crash, Rush Hour deals (from 4pm to 6pm everyday till sale period) and lastly First Time on Discount.
To lure customers, e-commerce service provider Amazon will once again launch its most awaited Prime Day event on July 16 starting at 12:00 pm noon. However, if we talk about Amazon, there is another player who will leave no moment when it comes to giving stiff competition to the US-based online shopping service provider. Yes, Flipkart who dominates Indian e-commerce market has also announced the sale of it’s ‘Big Shopping Days on the same day competition against Amazon. Flipkart’s latest sale would begin from July 16 starting from 4:00 PM onward. Big Shopping Days sale would be available till July 19 midnight.
The Flipkart’s sale is divided in four categories namely Blockbuster deals (where offers are refreshed every 8 hours), Price Crash, Rush Hour deals (from 4pm to 6pm everyday till sale period) and lastly First Time on Discount.
In this sale, Flipkart is offering heavy discount to more than 1,500 smartphones including latest launches.
Under the sale, Flipkart has revealed that, Samsung On Nxt (16GB) will be available at Rs 8,490 compared to market price of Rs 10,999. Further, the same phone in 64GB will be offered at Rs 10,900 against market price of Rs 17,900.
While Samsung’s Galaxy On5 (8GB ROM) and Galaxy J3 Pro (2GB RAM with 16GB storage) are offered at a rate of Rs 5,790 and Es 6,490 compared to their market price of Rs 8,990 and Rs 8,490.
Meanwhile, Samsung’s Galaxy On Max (4GB RAM and 32GB storage) are priced at Rs 12,900 compared to their market price of Rs 16,900.
Samsung smartphones are not alone in having heavy discount at Flipkart. Guess what! Google Pixel 2 (128GB) is offered at Rs 42,999 compared to their market price of Rs 70,000. There is buyback value of upto Rs 37,000 including extra discount of Rs 3,000 and cashback of Rs 8,000 available on Pixel 2.
From the look of Flipkart’s page, the e-commerce will also provide discount or various offers on Apple’s latest launch iPhone X. Offers are expected on iPhone SE and iPhone 6s. However, Flipkart has not revealed exact offers on iPhones, but has mentioned ‘Your wishes will be fulfilled soon’ on the three mentioned Apple phones.
Further there is flash sale of Zenfone Max Pro M1 at a starting price of Rs 10,999 on the first day from 4PM. Further a Redmi 5A flash sale is there at around 12 noon and a Redmi Note 5 Pro sale beginning from 6PM.
Honow 10 is offered at Rs 29,999 compared to their market price of Rs 35,999. The Asus’ Zenfon 5Z is also in the list and will be offered starting at Rs 29,999.
There is exchange offer of Rs 3000 each given on Vivo V9 Youth (4GB) and Vivo V9 apart from the discounts. Vivo V9 Youth (4GB) is offered at Rs 17,990 against market price of Rs 19,990, whereas Vivo V9 at Rs 20,990 versus market price of Rs 23,990. Also a Rs 2000 exchange offer is given on Honor 9i Lite which is priced at Rs 9,999.
Apart from this, there are 30-80% discount on electronics like laptops, headset and speakers. TV and appliances have a discount of 70%, while women and men clothing lines have discount from 50-80%. Further, home and furniture sees discount from 40-80%. While beauty products and toys are starting to as cheap as Rs 99.
Above all, one needs to remember especially the SBI card holders. The largest state-owned lender is also giving instant 10% discount for products which purchased using their credit cards. No cost EMI option is given by Bajaj Finserv.
Moreover, Amazon will also offer thousands of deal on Mobiles, TVs, Laptops, Appliances, Fashion and Everyday Essentials at the lowest prices of the year.
