The Vi prepaid subscribers must note that tariffed voice plan, which is currently available at Rs 79 for 28 days, will be increased to Rs 99 after the hike. The plan will be 99 worth talk time along with 200 MB +1p/ sec voice tariff.
It must also be noted that the minimum tariff for unlimited voice bundles which was priced at Rs 149 will be now Rs 179. As for the data top ups, the minimum tariff rate of Rs 48 will now be increased to Rs 58 which will provide 3 GB data.

As per the press release from the company, "These traiff plans will allow VIL to continue improving India's Fastest Mobile Network, verified by Ookla, the global leader in fixed broadband and mobile newtwork testing applications." It has also informed that the new plans will start the process of ARPU improvement and help in addressing the financial stress faced by the industry.
It must also be noted that on Monday telecom operator Bharti Airtel on Monday announced 20-25 per cent tariffs hikes for various prepaid offering, including tariffed voice plans, unlimited voice bundles, and data top ups.
The entry-level tariffed voice plan has been hiked by about 25 per cent, while for unlimited voice bundles the increase in most cases is about 20 per cent.
