Samsung on Wednesday (October 4) launched its much-awaited Samsung Galaxy S23 FE smartphone, along with Galaxy Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+, and Galaxy Buds FE.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is priced at $599 (Rs 49,838.60). It is available in four colours- mint, cream, graphite, and purple. New Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is also exclusively available at Samsung.com in indigo and tangerine colour options, according to a press statement on Wednesday.

In the United States, Galaxy S23 FE will be available starting October 26.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate (60~120Hz). It is packed with a triple camera setup at the back, including a 50MP wide camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera and an 8MP telephoto camera. The phone is equipped with a 10 MP selfie camera. The 50MP camera comes with a 3X optical zoom. The camera setup is packed with advanced digital image stabilisation (VDIS) and optical image stabiliser (OIS).

The phone comes in two variants: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. Samsung Galaxy S23 FE offers a 4,500mAh battery and a 25W adapter, which can charge the battery up to 50 per cent in just 30 minutes, as claimed by the company.

The phone runs on OS Android 13. It weighs 209 grammes and measures 76.5 X 158 X 8.2mm in size.

According to the company, Galaxy S23 FE has Vision Booster technology, which can automatically detect bright lighting conditions based on surroundings, keeping the screen vivid, just like flagship models.

The phone has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Other features in the phones include 5G connectivity support and Wi-Fi Direct Bluetooth 5.3.
