Samsung Galaxy S21 FE launched: The South Korean smartphone brand Samsung has finally launched its much-awaited smartphone -- Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. The new S21 FE comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, an AMOLED display, and three cameras on the rear side. The smartphone will be available in Lavender, White or Graphite color options.

In terms of pricing, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is globally available starting at USD 699 (around Rs 52,031) and is available in three storage variants – 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB. The smartphone is also expected to launch soon in India.

"We saw an incredible response to Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy S21 lineup. So we applied the same approach with S21 FE 5G, equipping it with the premium features that matter most to our loyal Galaxy fans — because we’re focused on delivering a smartphone that meets their most important needs," TM Roh, President and Head of Samsung Electronics’ MX (Mobile eXperience) Business, said in a statement.

In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE phone has a 6.4-inch 2340×1080 AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. You will also see an under-display optical fingerprint scanner here. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset like the S21 series and supports 5G. The device is backed by 4,500mAh battery that supports 25W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging.

In terms of camera, Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has a triple-camera setup on the back of the phone, with a 12MP main sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide sensor, and an 8MP 3x telephoto sensor. On the front is a 32MP fixed focus camera that is cased in a center-aligned punch-hole cutout.  To ensure peace of mind, S21 FE 5G is built with a new privacy dashboard that brings security and privacy controls into one convenient place, making the experience of One UI 4 on the Galaxy S21 FE 5G as seamless as it is secure.
