The launch date of the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy M42 5G smartphone has been announced in India. The South Korean tech giant Samsung is all set to launch its first mid-segment 5G smartphone Galaxy M42 on April 28 in the country during an online event.

Galaxy M42 will be Samsung’s fourth smartphone in the Galaxy M series in 2021, after the recently launched Galaxy M12, Galaxy M02 and Galaxy M02s. According to the reports, the company is expected to launch this smartphone under Rs 25,000. However, this is just a prediction, the official price will be out during the launch event.

Samsung Galaxy M42 specifications:

Samsung Galaxy M42, called the '#FastestMonster' will be the first M Series smartphone to have 5G capability, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor. With 5G services to be launched in India soon, this device will offer high download/upload speeds, low latency for great consumer experience and an excellent gaming experience even when streamed online in real time.

Along with 5G capabilities, Galaxy M42 5G will also be first M Series smartphone to have the Samsung Pay feature. Enabled with Knox Security features, this product will offer defense grade security and protects consumers’ most sensitive information from malware and malicious threats. Galaxy M42 5G will come in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants to ensure enhanced 5G performance and seamless multi-tasking.

Meanwhile, Samsung has announced attractive cashback offers on the latest flagship Galaxy S21 series during the Samsung Days Sale. HDFC Bank Credit and Debit card users (EMI transactions only) will be eligible for cashback up to Rs 10, 000 on Galaxy S21 Ultra, Rs 7,000 on Galaxy S21+ and Rs 5,000 on Galaxy S21.

 The offers also extend to select smartphones of Galaxy A, Galaxy M and Galaxy F series. According to the company,  Samsung Days Sale will be on from April 16-19, 2021 across all platforms including Amazon, Flipkart and leading retail outlets. The offers will also go live on Samsung.com from midnight.
