Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and A34 5G Price: Samsung has added two more devices to its Galaxy A series - Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G. Both of them are 5G smartphones and will help the South Korean tech major to strengthen its presence in the 5G segment. Both the devices are available in three colour options -  Lime, Graphite and Violet - and two storage variants of 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. They have an expandable storage capacity of up to 1TB with an optional micro SD card.

We have the Violet colour of the Galaxy A54 and the Lime colour of the Galaxy A34 as review units. The box contains the smartphones, some usual papers, a SIM ejector and Type-C to Type-C charging cable. 

The design of both devices is almost identical - except for the fact that the Galaxy A34 has a water drop notch display and the Galaxy A54 has a punch hole display. There are some minor differences in terms of dimensions as well. While the Galaxy A34 is taller, the Galaxy A54 is heavier. We have compared the specs of both smartphones in the chart below. You won't feel much difference while holding the device as the thickness of both devices is the same. 

On the right side, you will get the volume rocker and power button. While the SIM tray has been placed on the top of the frame along with a microphone for noise cancellation, you will get speaker grilles, Type-C charging port and a primary microphone on the bottom. They both have a floating camera setup as well as a metal camera deco. Also, this is for the first time that a Galaxy A series is coming with a glass back. 

While the A54 5G features a glass back, giving it a premium look and feel, the A34 has a plastic back with a glass-like finish.

Both the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 have Super AMOLED displays with minimized bezels. They offer a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Both Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G devices offer spill and splash resistance with an IP67 rating. They can also resist dust and sand. The display of both smartphones has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Galaxy A54 5G also comes with Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the back panel.

While Galaxy A54 5G boasts a 50MP OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) primary lens and is accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide lens, the Galaxy A34 comes with a 48MP OIS primary lens and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. They both have a 5MP macro lens.

For the first time, the ‘Nightography’ feature has been introduced in the Galaxy A series.

The Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G come with a 5000 mAh battery, which the company claims can last for more than 2 days on a single charge.
