Realme 8s, Realme 8i launch today: The stage is finally set! Chinese smartphone brand Realme will be launching two new smartphones in India today --  Realme 8s 5g and Realme 8i  at 12:30 PM during the live virtual event, which will be streamed online. The brand will be also launching its first tablet -- Realme Pad in the country during the live event.

Realme 8s 5G sports an Infinite Star Design, with a slim and lightweight build of 191g and 8.8mm. The Dynamic RAM expansion technology allows smoother app launch and faster app run with up to 13 GB RAM expansion.

Realme 8i, brings India’s first MediaTek Helio G96 processor, which achieves an AnTuTu score of 350,391 with 2.05 GHz speed. The G96 processor is the only G9X series chip that can power 120Hz displays and supports realme’s first screen whose brightness can reach as low as 1 nit, leading to a smoother gaming experience. The Infinitely Smooth 120Hz display is the first such feature in the segment with 6 different refresh rates to conserve power.

Realme 8i is tipped to carry a global price of EUR 199 (around Rs 17,300) for the 4GB/64GB storage variant and EUR 219 (around Rs 19,100) for the 4GB/128GB storage version. The phone is expected to have similar pricing in India. As for the Realme 8s, it is expected to launch at a starting price of Rs 15,990. Meanwhile, the Realme Pad Android tablet could cost Rs 19,999 for the 4G+WiFi variant. However, this is just a speculation and readers are advised to wait for official announcement
