While smartphone brand Realme is all set to launch the Realme 8 Pro phone with 108MP quad camera setup today during its 8 series launch, the Xiaomi, on the other hand recently launched the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max smartphone with 108MP quad camera setup.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max Price 6GB + 64GB variant is available at Rs 18999, 6GB + 128GB model at Rs 19999 and 8GB + 128GB storage variant at Rs 21999. The pricing of Realme 8 Pro is not out yet, but several reports stated that Realme 8 Pro likely to cost around Rs 21,000- 24,000.

Realme 8 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max: 108MP Camera War

The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max includes a 108MP quad camera array including the primary Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor, 5MP super macro sensor with 2X zoom, 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor with 118-degree FOV, and 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the Redmi Note device includes a 16MP front camera sensor. Apart from this, the phone's camera comes equipped with Advance camera features such as Night Mode 2.0, Vlog Mode, Magic Clone Mode, Long Exposure Mode, Video Pro Mode and Dual Video Mode.

On the other hand, it is revealed that the Realme 8 Pro, will get a 108-megapixel main camera with Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor too. Apart from the presence of the 108-megapixel primary camera, the Realme 8 Pro will support the new In-sensor Zoom technology, which is expected to deliver enhanced zoomed images. According to a report from BGR India, there also will be a new Starry mode, which now includes the time-lapse functionality. With the incorporation of a time-lapse video algorithm, the feature will be able to generate images of the sky at ‘480 times faster speed.’

There will also be a tilt-shift feature on the Realme 8 Pro for tilt-shift photos, 10x faster tilt-shift time-lapse, making the Realme 8 Pro the world’s first smartphone to come with the functionality. Additionally, there will be support for new Portrait modes such as Portrait, Dynamic Bokeh Portrait, and AI Color Portrait, and AI Color Portrait.

Meanwhile, the Realme 8 series will be launched during a virtual event on Wednesday (March 24). The live event will start at 7:30 PM. The company will livestream the event through official platforms like YouTube, Twitter and Facebook. Realme has also shared the Live Streaming Link.
