Global technology brand OnePlus on Thursday announced the launch of the much-awaited flagship smartphone in India -- OnePlus 10 Pro 5G, OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2 and OnePlus Buds Pro Radiant Silver during an online event. The flagship smartphone from OnePlus comes with top-end features including Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, Triple camera set up, a massive 5,000 mAH battery and more.

In terms of pricing, the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G has launched in India at a starting price of Rs 66,999 for the 8GB+128GB option and Rs 71,999 for 12GB+256GB variant. The smartphone comes in two color options -- Volcanic Black and Emerald Forest. OnePlus Buds Pro earbuds in a new Radiant Silver colour is priced at Rs 9,990.

In terms of specifications, OnePlus 10 Pro features a 6.7-inch QHD+ (1,440x3,216 pixels) curved AMOLED display with a 20.1:9 aspect ratio and a dynamic refresh rate ranging between 1Hz and 120Hz. It runs on Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1 on top.

The smartphone is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus panel. Under the hood, this device has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, along with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. In terms of camers, the OnePlus 10 Pro carries a triple rear camera setup that houses a 48MP Sony IMX789 primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, ans optical image stabilisation (OIS).

The camera setup also includes a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens and an 8MP telephoto shooter with OIS support. The company also claims that that the camera setup of the OnePlus 10 Pro is capable of offering 3.3x optical zoom. Also, the camera on the OnePlus phone is backed by Hasselblad's colour optimisations.

For the OnePlus 10 Pro, OnePlus worked with Hasselblad to fine tune the color processing in over 500 usage scenarios and even in extreme weather conditions, to significantly improve color performance and stability. It is this attention to detail combined with OnePlus Billion Color Solution that allows users to capture every shot with the highest picture quality.

"OnePlus 10 Pro is infact the first OnePlus device equipped with a camera system that shoots in full 10-bit color to deliver a more natural and delicate display of color in every photo. The benefit of 10-bit color is smoother color transitions in photos without color banding and the ability to process 64 times more color than smartphones that shoot in 8-bit color," the company noted.
