Motorola Edge 20 Pro India launch on October 1: All you need to Know

Motorola Edge 20 Pro launch: After successfully launching Edge 20 Fusion, Edge 20 earlier this year in India, the smartphone brand Motorola is preparing to launch another Edge 20 series mobile phone in the country. Now, the company has started teasing the launch of the Moto Edge 20 Pro in India.

Motorola India’s official Twitter handle has uploaded an image of the Pro model’s camera module with a “coming soon” launch timeline. They wrote: "It is time to meet the ultimate pro. Are you ready? We are. Stay tuned to know more!"

The teaser image didn't reveal the exact launch date. However, the e-commerce platform Flipkart has confirmed that a new Motorola phone will launch on October 1 in India. While the Edge 20 Pro is available in overseas market for a price of 699 Euros, which roughly translates to about Rs 60,360, the company might cut some features to lower the price of the device in India.

On the other hand, Motorola Edge 20 Fusion is equipped with a 108MP Quad function camera system, 10-bit AMOLED 90Hz display, True 5G with support for 13 global 5G bands, and exceptional performance with MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset.

Priced at Rs 21,499 for the 6GB/128GB variant and Rs 22,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant, the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion comes with the promise of true 5G by supporting the maximum 5G bands of any smartphone in India.

Also, the Motorola Edge 20 is powered by a Snapdragon 778G processor. The phone is equipped with Near-stock Android 11 giving you a simple UI that enables hassle-free usage. For camera lovers, the device comes with 108MP + 8MP + 16MP rear and a 32MP Front Camera. The 32 MP Selfie Camera System features the Quad Pixel technology along with light sensitivity.

Motorola Edge 20 features a Max Vision HDR10+ Display with AMOLED Screen along with a unique aluminium alloy frame. It has a 144 Hz refresh rate. Motorola Edge Fusion 20 on the other hand is a 6.67 inch phone, with 2400 x 1080 Pixels resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz.
