HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, on Monday, launched a new budget smartphone --Nokia G2  in India. Nokia G20 comes with features including, 48MP quad-camera setup, Mediatek G35 processor, 5,050 mAh battery and more.

The Nokia G20 will be available in Night and Glacier color options, with 4GB RAM+ 64GB ROM at Rs 12,999. The Nokia G20 will be available on Nokia.com/phones and Amazon starting 15th July. The pre-booking for Nokia G20 will start on Amazon and Nokia.com from 7th July, 12 pm IST.

Customers who pre-book the Nokia G20 on Amazon or on Nokia.com/phones can avail a discount of Rs 500 on the price of the device OR avail of a special offer of Rs 2099 off when they buy the new Nokia G20 and Nokia Power Earbuds Lite together, the company said.

Nokia G20 specifications

The Nokia G20 features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and uses the IPS LCD technology. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset. Nokia also promises two years of Android OS upgrades and three years of monthly security patches. The phone boots stock Android 11 out of the box and do not feature any pre-loaded third-party apps.

In terms of camera specifications, the main rear camera features a 48MP sensor that’s accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera. You also get a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth camera. The front camera relies on an 8MP selfie camera.

The G20 relies on a 5050mAh battery and Nokia says that it can go up to three days on a single charge. The phone comes bundled with a 10W USB-C charger. A power key-mounted fingerprint scanner is also present for biometric verification.
