iQOO 9 series launch date in India: iQOO, the sub-brand of smartphone brand Vivo, on Friday announced that its advanced flagship series - iQOO 9 Series will be an Amazon special.  The iQOO 9 series line-up will have three devices: iQOO 9 Pro, iQOO 9, and iQOO 9SE offering dynamic performance.

According to the company, the iQOO 9 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform in India and this makes iQOO the first brand to launch the latest flagship Snapdragon processor in India that uses 4nm process technology. The performance is further complemented with the combination of enhanced LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 flash storage.

“At iQOO, our continuous endeavor has been to introduce products that offer exceptional and unmatched performance to our users. The iQOO 9 series will be a powerful addition to our existing portfolio and the advanced flagship will be available very soon on consumer’s favorite platform, Amazon India," Nipun Marya, Chief Executive Officer – iQOO said in a statement.

iQOO introduced the fastest 66W FlashCharge technology last year in the iQOO 7 series and will now be offering industry-leading 120W FlashCharge in the iQOO 9 Pro and 9. The technology will result in 50 per cent charge in just 6 mins for iQOO 9, the brand said.

As per the statement, the iQOO 9 series will have innovative gaming features such as Dual X-Axis Linear Motor to provide the best haptics experience along with Advanced Liquid Cooling System. The flagship smartphone will also be equipped with a Gimbal Camera for a professional photography experience.

Recently, iQOO launched two new smartphones -- iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro in China. According to the listing on the official website, both the smartphones are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and sport triple-camera setups, featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera.

In china, the iQOO 9 price starts at RMB 3,999 (around Rs 46,800) for a version with 8GB RAM +256GB storage, 12GB RAM+ 256GB storage will be available for RMB 4,399 (around Rs 51,500). The top-end variant with 12GB RAM+ 512GB storage will set buyers back by RMB 4,799 (roughly Rs 56,000).

In terms of specifications, the iQOO 9 has a flat 1080p E5 AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate in comparison. The secondary and tertiary back cameras are 13MP ultrawide-angle and 12MP depth. And, there is no wireless charging in this phone. Rest of the specs are the same as the pro model.

On the other hand, the iQOO 9 Pro comes with a curved Quad-HD display, while the vanilla iQOO 9 sports a flat full-HD+ resolution display. The iQOO 9 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch curved 1440p or 2k resolution display with a hole punch cut-out. iQOO is using an LTPO E5 AMOLED panel with up to 120Hz refresh rate.
