Google Pixel Fold: Google has finally confirmed that it is launching its first foldable smartphone on May 10. The tech major took to the microblogging site Twitter to confirm the launch of Google Pixel Fold. It also shared a teaser video which highlights certain features of the smartphone. The device will be revealed at Google I/O, the tech giant's annual developer conference later this month.
The video shows a full-size outer display. Also, the camera bar on the back is similar to other Pixel devices. It has a larger screen inside which clearly signals a significant advancement in foldable display technology.

Google Pixel Fold: Expected price
Google is expected to price the smartphone at around $1,700. For those uninitiated, Samsung’s Z Fold 4 was launched at a price of $1,799.
Google Pixel Fold: Camera
The phone might feature a 9.5MP front-facing camera and an 8MP selfie camera on the inner display. Most importantly, it could come with IPX8 water resistance and feature USB type-C 3.2 gen 2.
Google Pixel Fold: Colour
The new device is likely to come in two colour variants -- Porcelain and Obsidian (black).
In November last year, it was reported that the tech giant was planning to launch its first foldable smartphone at a price of $1,799 in May this year, alongside the Pixel Tablet.
Meanwhile, Google has also confirmed the launch date of its much-awaited smartphone - Google Pixel 7a. The 'budget' smartphone will be unveiled on May 11.
There are reports that suggest the display of Google Pixel 7a is expected to have a refresh rate of 90Hz. The device is likely to offer a 90Hz 1080p display, reports Android Authority. On an A-series smartphone, this refresh rate would be the highest ever.
