It comes with Ultra Sharp AMOLED display, 550nits high brightness which is one of the major highlights of this smartwatch. Its Always-on Display mode, premium metal frame, 110+ Sports Modes, health and fitness monitoring, 150+ Watch Faces, 5ATM Water Resistance, and up to 12-days battery life are some of its high points.
I used this smartwatch for more than a week and here's what I have to say about Dizo's first round-dial smartwatch.
In terms of design and looks, the smartwatch comes with a traditional style -- round dial. The 45mm round dial is fitted with a metal frame and offers curved round hard glass to give it a decent look, which is also sturdy in use. Taking it a notch up, it is also equipped with the elegant 2.5D curved glass, that brings 7H hardness and anti-fingerprint coating on the glass.
Also, this smartwatch is only 9.9mm thin, making it extremely lightweight. Also, the straps are very comfortable and also they’re replaceable so you can change them easily. Also, the Dizo Watch R has achieved a water-resistance grade of 5 ATM, so you can enjoy the sea or take a dip in a pool without worry. Not just activity tracking or wellness tracking, in terms of design, weight and battery the Dizo Watch R smartwatch has ticked almost all the right boxes.
The biggest highlight of the latest Dizo Watch R is the 1.3-Ultra Sharp AMOLED display; Along with the biggest AMOLED Display, it offers a high-resolution of 360*360 pixel, which is 125 per cent of normal TFT displays and 550 nits of high brightness.
Overall the display offers a clear, vivid, bright, and smooth experience with screen clarity, which is suitable for any lighting conditions. With an always-on display feature turned on, this smartwatch looks stunning. Additionally, there are more than 150 customizable watch faces including dynamic ones which will take your experience to new levels. Always on Display ensures you do not have to raise your wrist always or press the button to check the time.
Further, you can simply cover the dial with your palm to turn off the screen and show it off to your friends. On the right side, you will see two buttons at the right distance. They are easy to press and comfortable to use. Also, the touch response on the screen is great and the UI is relatively simple and easy to use.
On top of the watch screen, it also has an automatic brightness sensor, which automatically adjusts the brightness depending on the ambient lighting, which worked pretty well. Thanks to the AMOLED display, we didn't face any discomfort while using the screen in various light conditions. The connectivity is smooth and easy on Dizo Watch R, especially with Android smartphones. To use this smartwatch, you need to download the Dizo App. The software on both the watch and the app allows basic functionalities. The app looks well-designed and works very smoothly.
When it comes to performing and tracking your physical fitness, the smartwatch includes 110+ Sports Modes such as running, walking and cycling both indoors and outdoors, mountaineering, swimming, football, dancing, yoga and more. The Dizo Watch R also helps you track and record your daily, weekly, monthly and even annual workouts data and even lets you set goals. It also has features including a 24/7 automated heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, keeps a track of your sleep, steps, calories, distance, sedentary and displays water intake reminders, etc. For the females, it can also track the menstruation cycle making it convenient for them to keep a check of the same.
Other smart features offered by Dizo Watch R include smartphone music and camera control, showing notifications for calls and messages, rejecting or mute calls, finding your phone, stopwatch, weather forecast, low battery reminder, brightness, do-not disturb mode and much more. In terms of battery performance, this smartwatch has decent battery life. The Dizo Watch R has a battery capacity of 280mAh, which delivers up to 12 days of battery life and a standby time of over 60 days, the smartwatch didn't take much time to reach from 0-100 per cent battery, which I think is an impressive performance for Dizo. Overall, this smartwatch delivers long-lasting battery backup and didn't disappoint on daily usage.
Dizo Watch R Verdict: Priced at Rs 3,999, The Dizo Watch R smartwatch is the best wearable to buy in Rs 4,000 segment. With stunning looks, this smartwatch has performed better than many smartwatches available in the market right now in the budget category. If you are looking for a stylish and powerful smartwatch under Rs 5K, This Dizo smartwatch can be a good option.
