boAt Primia smartwatch launched with Bluetooth calling feature in India - Check price, offers, specs and availability

boAt Primia: Homegrown consumer tech brand boAt on Wednesday announced the launch of its first-ever Bluetooth Calling Smartwatch — ‘boAt Primia’. The smartwatch comes with AMOLED Display, a built-in speaker, a microphone, and a radiant metallic design, clubbed with a leather strap.

According to the company, the boAt Primia smartwatch will be available for an introductory price of Rs 3,999 for the first 1000 customers on Amazon and the boAt website. Post this the watch will be available at Rs 4,499.

boAt Primia is built with an IP67 dust, sweat, and splash-resistant casing, that allows users to wear the watch freely under extreme weather conditions or during an intense work-out session. It is powered by a strong battery that outperforms and gives up to 7 days of battery life.

"Taking it a notch higher with the ‘Bluetooth Calling’ option, boAt Primia smartwatch is the first of its kind from the house of boAt. This latest feature aids in a smooth calling experience by providing an extra layer of comfort to connect with one’s friends, family, or colleagues through the watch’s beautiful round dial," the company said in a statement. 

The  smartwatch offers 1.39-inch AMOLED Display, a resolution of 454x454 pixels to give crystal clear image clarity and sharper details even when used out in the sun. This smartwatch also allows access to Voice Assistant directly. 

Customers can simply talk to boAt Primia and instantly get connected with Google and Siri voice assistants on their smartphones. Along with this, the boAt Primia smartwatch also has an in-built heart rate, SPO2, and stress level tracker to help users track their physical health such as step counts, calorie burn records and the distance traveled.

 It also has a sleep tracker with accurate insights into the users’ sleeping pattern (light or deep) and guides them to sleep smart. Lastly, it has 11 Active Sports Modes for intense sports sessions such as basketball, badminton, football, spinning, climbing, cycling, yoga, treadmill, or just a brisk walk or a run.

Based on user’s BMI, Primia can customize their fitness plans for better training to reach their goals. A customer can also build a crew of friends and family to share their fitness journey. It also includes smart updates and notifications for texts, emails, notifications, and calls, the brand said.
