Apple September event: iPhone 14 Pro Max, Watch Series 8, iOS 16 release date and latest updates

Apple September event: Cupertino-based tech giant Apple is set to host its annual iPhone event in September. It is expected  that four new iPhones -- iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, Watch Series 8, other products and iOS 16 might launch on September 7 in the pre-recorded event.

Apple iPhone 14 series pricing (expected)

Apple iPhone 14 Pro will be $1,099 (around Rs 87,838.12) whereas the iPhone 14 Pro Max will cost $1,199 (around Rs 95,830.67). However, the price of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will rise to $1099 and $1199, respectively, due to increased component costs and Apple's drive to separate Pro and non-Pro iPhones, the MacRumors report said.

Apple iPhone 14 pre-booking, sale (expected) 

According to MacRumors, the iPhone 14 Series will be made available for pre-booking from September 9. At the same time, the sale of this series will start on September 16. 

Apple iPhone 14 specifications (expected) 

The Apple iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are expected to sport the new notch and pill design with major camera enhancements. The new Pro models will feature faster chips. The standard iPhone 14 models are expected to get few changes, but the iPhone 14 Pro models will include updated camera technology. 

Apple iOS 16 release date announcement 

The could be other announcements at the Apple September 2022 event, including an iOS 16 release date and more. iOS 16's major new features include a customizable Lock Screen with widgets, the ability to temporarily edit or unsend an iMessage, iCloud Shared Photo Library for sharing photos with family and friends, a revamped Home app, and more. 

Apple Watch Series 8

Apple is expected to launch three smartwatch models this year during the September event. These are likely to include Apple Watch Series 8, the new Apple Watch Series SE model and a rugged model.
