Apple on Tuesday night launched the new iPhone 12 models. This year, the tech giant has launched as many as four Apple iPhones. These include - iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 Mini. The four iPhone 12 models range in size from 5.4-inches to 6.7-inches. The phones are powered by company’s new high-performance A14 chipset and an upgraded camera. Also, the company has confirmed that the new Apple iPhones will not come with charging adaptor inside the box. Instead, you will get the charging cable which can work with any adaptor.

This is the first time when the Apple iPhones come with support for 5G technology. Apple has partnered with Verizon to bring 5G iPhones for the very first time. However, no announcement has been made with respect to refresh rate.  

The four Apple iPhone variants launched are - iPhone 12 Mini (5.4-inch screen), iPhone 12 (6.1-inch screen), iPhone 12 Pro (6.1-inch screen), and iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7-inch screen). Apple has unveiled the iPhone 12 in five new and fresh colours including blue, red, black, white and green. The iPhone 12 comes with Super Retina XDR Display which Apple claims is one of the most durable and best screens ever.  

Apple iPhone 12 Prices in India:

Phone 12 and iPhone 12 mini will be available in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB models in blue, green, black, white, and PRODUCT(RED), starting at Rs 79,900 and Rs 69,900, respectively from apple.com and through Apple Authorised Resellers. iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB models in graphite, silver, gold, and pacific blue starting at Rs 119,900 and Rs 129,900, respectively from apple.com, and Apple Authorised Resellers.

The iPhone 12 is supported with Ceramic Sheild that makes the phone durable than ever before. The iPhone 12 offers 4 times better drop performance, Apple claims. The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini come with 12MP ultra wide camera + 12MP wide angle lens. The company has improved the Night mode as well, which now comes in both front and rear cameras across all iPhone 12 models. 

Meanwhile, the Pro Max comes with new camera system with more 'pro-level' features compared to the iPhone 12 Pro cameras. It will also have HDR video recording for the first time. The Pro models also come with LiDar scanner that will offer 'an instant AR experience'. It's also used to focus on objects for photography in low-light conditions. 

In the US, Apple iPhone 12 price has been set at Rs 799 while the Mini variant will cost you $699. The iPhone 12 Pro has been priced at $999 while the Pro Max will cost $1099. All the Apple iPhone 12 models will be available for pre-orders starting October 16 and will go on sale from October 23.
