Apple iPhone SE 3 launch: US smartphone maker Apple is likely to hold a spring event on March 8 where the company is expected to launch a new iPhone SE with 5G, iPad Air 5, high-end Mac mini, and a redesigned 27-inch iMac at the event. Apple suppliers have reportedly started production of new fifth-generation iPad Air and third-generation iPhone SE.

"According to the Japanese blog Mac Otakara, the new iPhone SE will retain the same chassis design as the current model released in 2020, and the device will apparently continue to lack support for MagSafe accessories," the news agency IANS reported.

The new iPad Air is also expected to launch with Apple's A15 Bionic chip, a 12MP Ultra-Wide front camera with Center Stage, Quad-LED True Tone flash, and 5G support on cellular models. The new iPad Air will have the same overall design as the current model, including a single-lens rear camera.

One can also expect the same 10.9-inch display with slim bezels, a USB-C Port, Touch ID embedded on the power button, according to this report. In addition, the iPhone maker may also launch a redesigned 27-inch iMac with a mini-LED display

The report also said budget iPhone model has been imported under A2595, A2783, and A2784 model numbers. This one is likely to be priced at around $300 (around Rs 23,000). The industry source that revealed this information has not disclosed the name of this iPhone. However, it is expected to be iPhone SE 3.

Also, two iPad models with A2588 and A2589 model numbers have also been imported. This one is expected to be the updated iPad Air that might be priced between $500-700 ( around Rs 37,500-52,300). The budget-friendly iPad with model numbers A2757 and A2761 is expected to cost around $300 (around Rs 23,000).

The previous report suggests that the iPhone SE 3 will offer an iPhone XR-like design with a wide notch cut out, but the screen size will be smaller in comparison. It is said to include a 4.7-inch display with Touch ID embedded onto the Home button similar to the predecessor, BGR India said.
