The CMF Buds Pro comes in a round case with matte finish. The case has a metal hinge which makes it sturdy. A USB-C charging port is located below the hinge. It comes with a pairing button inside the case. The size of earbuds case is quite large. According to the company, the buds are dust and water resistant and IP54 compliant.

Sound Quality:

It offers deep bass and balanced sound quality, due to the 10mm liquid crystal polymer (LCP) and polyurethane (PU) bass driver in each earbud. The treble is good, but it could have been better at this price range.

The device is equipped with six microphones, three in each earpiece, delivering adequate sound quality during  calls and audio recording.

Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode:

One standout feature introduced by CMF is the device's noise cancellation, operating in three categories — low, medium, and high — all of which perform exceptionally well.

The company suggests that the transparency feature allows users to hear street or background sounds while using the earbuds. However, the impact of transparency mode is not good, this feature only works when you are on a call or not playing music. During music playback, it only allows loud sounds to pass through, such as vehicle horns, while filtering out other vehicle noises. It is recommended that this feature must not be used while on the street or while driving.

Connectivity:

These earbuds effortlessly connect with smartphone, laptop or other compatible devices as soon as the bud case is opened. This seamless connection is facilitated by three key features: Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair and Bluetooth 5.1.

The earbuds' sensor also plays or pauses music whenever they are taken out of your ears.

Battery performance:

I used these earbuds with 'Active Noise Cancellation' and without noise cancellation mode, they performed very well . Without Noise Cancellation mode, they lasted up to 11 hours and with the ANC mode on, the earbuds ran for about 6 to 7 hours. In terms of case battery life, they excelled. With 'ANC' mode activated, the earbuds performed between 17 and 20 hours. While, without 'ANC' mode, the case provided an impressive battery life of 36 to 38 hours (more than one day).

When both the earbuds and case were fully drained, it took around 2 hours and a half hours to charge completely.

Ear fitting:

These earbuds snugly fit into the ears, providing a secure and comfortable experience without any looseness. If you are someone who engages in sports activities, they can be an excellent choice for you.

App Customizations:

Among the notable features of these earbuds is their seamless integration with the mobile app, Nothing X. Through this application, users can effortlessly customize settings, like equalizer adjustments for bass, mid-tones, treble and more. Also, the app allows for individual touch preferences to be set for each earbud (left and right). Users can personalize these touch functions according to their preferences, with options for single tap, double tap, triple tap, tap & hold, and double tap & hold.

Price, colours and availability:

The product has been officially launched at a price of Rs 3,499. The earbuds come in three colours - Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Orange.

Should you buy this? (Verdict):

Overall, the CMF Buds Pro are a great pair of true wireless earbuds for the price. They offer good sound quality, long battery life, effective ANC, a comfortable fit and customizable controls. If you are looking for a budget-friendly pair of earbuds with these features, the CMF Buds Pro are a good option to consider.
